NOTICE: This is not a membership. This is only one free trial class during our Grand Opening Event on May 16, 2026. This event is intended to be fun and to introduce children to Taekwondo at Yusan Taekwondo Academy. Participants who complete the class will be eligible to enroll to a free 4 week trial! This trial consists of 2 classes per week and will give the student a complete experience at Yusan Academy so that they learn a solid foundation in Taekwondo as a white belt. This 4 week trial is free but does not include a uniform or t-shirt.
Also, don't forget to come hungry! We will have celebrity Chef Chris Tzorin from Gordon Ramsey's Top Level Chef join us with his food truck!
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in martial arts, including but not limited to Taekwondo training, physical conditioning, sparring, tournaments, demonstrations, and related activities, involves inherent risks of injury. These risks may include, but are not limited to: Bruises, sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, or head trauma, Serious bodily injury, paralysis, or even death, Illness or injury resulting from training, events, travel, or related activities. I voluntarily choose to participate (or allow my child to participate) in these activities with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.
2. Release of Liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate at Yusan Taekwondo Academy, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the School, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to: Injury, illness, or death sustained during participation, Damage to personal property, Any incidents occurring on or off the School premises, including but not limited to events. This release applies even if caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
3. Medical Authorization & Responsibility
I certify that I (or my child) am in good health and physically able to participate in martial arts activities. I agree to disclose any medical conditions or required emergency supplies (e.g., EpiPen, inhaler) to School management prior to participation. In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize Yusan Taekwondo Academy staff to: Administer first aid, Contact emergency medical services, and notify emergency contacts or authorities as deemed appropriate. I understand that the School is not financially responsible for medical treatment, services, or outcomes. I agree to assume full responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of participation.
4. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the full understanding between the School and the Signer and Member regarding transition from the Former School. It supersedes any verbal promises or prior written agreements.
